Little Switzerland

Raleigh HOG will once again return to the Little Switzerland area of the NC mountains!
Our neighbors have not fully recovered from the effects of Hurricane Helene, but the roads are
progressing and most have reopened and are safe for travel (even on two and three wheels!).
We will gather to both celebrate the recovery in the area thus far and to patronize area businesses,
particularly one that has become a part of Raleigh HOG’s history over many years, Big Lynn Lodge.
Hoyt and Kelly are excited to welcome us back and have held all available cabins/rooms for HOG
members on our designated dates. Rooms continue to include complementary dinner and breakfast
for two, for the following rates:

  •  Mountain View (2Q or 1K) ~ Friday & Saturday - $170 + Sunday - $140 = $480 total
  • Parkway (2 DBL) or Pet Friendly Rooms (1K, 1Q, or 2Q) ~ Friday & Saturday - $155 + Sunday - $125 = $435 total

We will ride by day and there is always time to take in the sunset, mingle with fellow members, and
sit by the fire sharing snacks following dinner each evening.


Organized travel to and from the event as well as several ride options per day are TBD at this time
but will be available and published well in advance of the trip for planning purposes. A community
service component may be available one day (or a portion of a day), for those wishing to pitch in on
the rebuilding efforts!

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
