Riding and Racing into History

Join Tavie as he kicks off the 2026 NASCAR season with a scenic ride through racing history. Our journey begins at one of NASCAR's earliest tracks, first opened in 1949, where legends like Lee Petty, Richard Petty, Ned Jarrett, and David Pearson once battled for glory. 

We'll then roll into Hillsborough, NC for a delicious lunch at the beloved Hillsborough Bar-B-Que Company~the perfect pit stop to refuel and relax. 

With full stomachs and high spirits, we'll head north to Orange County Speedway, proudly known as America's Fastest 3/8-Mile Racetrack. This track has seen it's share of rising stars and unforgettable moments ~Jeff and Ward Burton turned laps here, Dale Jarrett captured his first career Xfinity ( Busch) Series win at OCS in 1986, and Jeff Gordan earned his first career Xfinity (Busch) Series pole here in 1991. 

Tanks and Tummys full. Plan for about 100 miles and roughly 3 hours in the saddle one way.
